Business Development Manager - Public Sector Portfolio

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We're looking for an energetic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our efforts to sell sponsorship packages for our UK-based premium networking events in the Public Sector. This role can be based in either our London or Crawley office, and is predominantly office-based with flexibility available following successful completion of probation. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by achievement, commission, and making a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
THE ROLE:
Close and repeat high-value sponsorship sales
Plan and engage with KPIs across activity and closed sales
Develop relationships with decision-makers to build accounts
On-site face-to-face client management and event execution
Identify and secure new clients with major account potential
Manage and update your sales pipeline within Salesforce (CRM)
Gather product and company feedback from clients and prospects
ABOUT YOU:
Demonstrable experience in B2B sales, ideally within event sponsorship
Proven track record of winning new business and managing existing client accounts
Able to sell a concept and take a consultative sales approach
Comfortable working US hours when required
Experienced across multiple sales platforms, including telephone, email, social, and in-person
CSM do not ‘usually’ offer sponsorship for this role
