WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a commercially minded and delivery-focused Commercial Project Manager to lead initiatives that generate measurable value from CloserStill’s customer experience technology ecosystem. You will be passionate about improving exhibitor and sponsor ROI, identifying new revenue opportunities, and ensuring technology solutions are effectively adopted across the business. You will also care deeply about user experience, ensuring that commercial technology solutions are intuitive, consistent, and genuinely valuable for exhibitors, sponsors, and internal teams.
THE ROLE:
As the Commercial Project Manager, you will lead and deliver commercial and strategic projects across CloserStill’s CX technology stack, including registration platforms, websites, exhibitor portals, event apps, lead retrieval, and reporting tools. Working closely with show teams, sales, marketing, networking events, and operations, you will ensure technology solutions are scalable, commercially effective, and deliver clear ROI. You will ensure that commercial initiatives are delivered with a strong focus on user experience, adoption, and usability, working closely with CX Technology and UX resources where required.
You will:
Identify and develop monetisation opportunities across event technology and data products
Ensure exhibitor and sponsor-facing technology is designed and delivered with clear user journeys and minimal friction
Collaborate with CX Technology and UX resources to validate user needs and improve adoption of commercial tools
Use exhibitor and sponsor feedback to inform continuous improvement of CX technology products
Support the rollout of strategic initiatives set by the Head of Customer Experience Technology
Lead projects end-to-end, from scoping and vendor management through to implementation and evaluation
Act as a key bridge between CX Technology and internal stakeholders to drive adoption and impact
Track performance metrics and present clear commercial outcomes to senior leadership
ABOUT YOU:
You are an experienced project manager with a strong commercial mindset and a background in events, exhibitions, or B2B environments. You are confident working cross-functionally and using data to shape decisions and unlock new revenue streams. You understand the importance of user experience in driving adoption, satisfaction, and commercial performance, even if you are not a designer by background.
You will bring:
Proven experience managing commercial or technology-led projects
A strong understanding of exhibitor and sponsor needs and how technology can enhance ROI
Experience developing or implementing revenue-generating digital initiatives
Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
Familiarity with event tech platforms (e.g. ASP, Grip, Swapcard) and CRM systems such as HubSpot
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
