WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will play a key role in delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive both visitor and exhibitor audiences to our UK shows. This position is ideal for a highly organised and collaborative individual with a deep passion for marketing. Since you’ll be marketing to marketers and eCommerce professionals, a keen interest in the latest industry trends is a must!
THE ROLE:
Content Creation: Write engaging, targeted, and personalised copy for multi-channel campaigns aligned with the brand voice, including emails, social media, and website content.
Visual Asset Production: Assist in designing marketing collateral, maintaining a consistency in brand messaging such as logos, banners, and promotional materials. Experience with design tools like Canva is required.
Campaign Execution: Planning and implementing email and social media marketing campaigns in collaboration with the central digital team. This includes copywriting, template design, use of marketing automation and scheduling tools, and campaign performance tracking.
Media Partnerships: Manage the execution of media partnership agreements, ensuring timely and effective delivery of campaigns while tracking performance metrics.
Exhibitor Promotion: Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Sales team to develop exhibitor marketing collateral and promotional campaigns.
Onsite Marketing Support: Liaise with external suppliers, including designers, photographers, videographers, and printers, to assist with onsite marketing activities during events.
Database Management: Maintain, enhance, and clean the marketing database with support from the central data team to ensure accurate and effective targeting.
Administrative Support: Assist the team with raising purchase orders and handling various administrative tasks to support smooth marketing operations.
Newsletter Management & Analysis: Oversee the production and distribution of the monthly newsletter to keep audiences engaged and informed.
Social Media Management: Help plan, schedule, and analyse social media activity across multiple platforms to enhance audience engagement and brand awareness
Data & Analytics: Monitor key marketing metrics across different channels to track campaign performance, generate insights, and optimise future strategies.
ABOUT YOU:
Essential Skills and Competencies
Excellent copywriting, proofreading, and creative skills.
Familiarity with graphic and design tools like Canva.
Experience in executing email and social media marketing campaigns.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and measure marketing effectiveness.
Desirable Skills
Experience in B2B events marketing.
Basic video editing and production skills.
Editorial and content creation skills
