THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help shape and deliver the marketing strategy for our co-located Learning Technologies & HR Technologies UK tradeshows in London.
Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing, Group Event Director and wider team, you’ll play a pivotal role in promoting our events to delegates and exhibitors. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing plans, managing creative processes, overseeing budgets, and ensuring every campaign delivers measurable results.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing marketing strategies, positioning, and key messaging across the portfolio.
Managing delegate and exhibitor promotion, pricing strategies, and performance reporting.
Leading the creative process for digital and print materials, ensuring alignment with brand identity.
Collaborating with sales to create campaigns that drive revenue growth and client retention.
Building strategic audience development plans and leading messaging for customer communications.
Working with partners to create campaigns and materials that support all revenue streams.
Aligning content and marketing strategies in collaboration with the Head of Content.
Reviewing KPIs, response rates, and attendee demographics to enhance campaign performance.
Overseeing community-building and social media strategies to drive engagement.
Managing data lists, CRM updates, and marketing budgets, including POs and finance reporting.
Partnering with a PR agency to maintain and execute a detailed communication plan.
Managing visitor registration, planning, and execution.
ABOUT YOU:
We’re looking for a confident, creative marketer with strong B2B experience — ideally within events, media or professional services — who can manage multiple projects, think strategically, and execute campaigns that deliver results.
You will have:
4–5 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within events or media.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for crafting engaging copy.
Experience creating and executing marketing plans and digital campaigns.
Strong project management skills, able to deliver work on time and within budget.
A solid understanding of CRM systems, CMS platforms and marketing tools (HubSpot and Salesforce preferred).
Analytical skills with experience using tools like GA4, Power BI, and paid media platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta).
Knowledge of GDPR and compliance best practices.
A commercial mindset and creative approach to sales-led marketing.
The confidence to work in a fast-paced environment and present ideas to stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail and flexibility around key event dates.
