WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a Senior Conference Producer to join our dynamic conference team, focusing on our automotive and mobility technology portfolio. This is a pivotal role for an experienced content strategist who can design, validate, and deliver impactful conferences, awards, and festival-style program elements that resonate with both technical and senior-level audiences.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the direction of our automotive events portfolio — ensuring every conference delivers commercial value, thought leadership, and exceptional audience engagement.
Location: Dorking, Surrey (3 days a week in the office)
Reports to: Head of Conferences
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years (preferably within automotive industry events such as trade shows, summits, or festival-style formats)
THE ROLE:
As Senior Conference Producer, you’ll take ownership of the full content lifecycle — from concept development through to onsite delivery. You’ll work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the program aligns with commercial goals and brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development & Strategy:
Research and design conference agendas, awards programs, and festival-style elements aligned to industry trends.
Ensure all content reflects audience needs and supports delegate and sponsorship revenue streams.
Identify emerging themes, technologies, and regulatory trends to shape forward-looking programs.
Market Validation & Commercial Support:
Validate ideas through structured research, advisory boards, and industry engagement.
Align content with sales and marketing objectives, creating clear sponsorship and delegate acquisition opportunities.
Track competitor events to maintain our market-leading position.
Speaker Acquisition & Stakeholder Management:
Secure senior-level and C-suite speakers from OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, policymakers, and thought leaders.
Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners.
Serve as the primary point of contact for speakers before, during, and after events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with sales, marketing, and delegate teams to ensure consistent messaging and seamless delivery.
Contribute content-driven insights to sponsorship proposals, marketing campaigns, and strategy discussions.
Onsite Execution:
Oversee all aspects of conference delivery onsite, ensuring sessions run to time and speakers are fully supported.
Represent the brand to speakers, sponsors, and delegates with professionalism and confidence.
Handle last-minute changes or challenges with composure and agility.
ABOUT YOU:
5+ years of experience in conference production, ideally within the automotive, mobility, or technology events sector.
Proven experience delivering conferences and awards within trade show or festival-style environments.
Strong record in C-level speaker acquisition and stakeholder management.
Commercially minded, with the ability to align content to sponsorship and delegate revenue opportunities.
Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills.
Confident working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Passionate about the automotive and mobility ecosystem, with a genuine interest in emerging technologies and innovation.
