WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded sales professional to join Trans-Global Events as an Exhibition Manager, focused on our North American portfolio. You’ll be responsible for selling exhibition stands and sponsorship, managing your own pipeline, and helping us exceed show targets. If you thrive in a target-driven environment and love building lasting client relationships, this is the role for you.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, your day-to-day will include:
• Managing your personal sales pipeline and hitting individual targets across the North American portfolio
• Delivering the campaign strategy set by the Head of TGE, covering exhibitor numbers, stand sales, sponsorship inventory, yield and sponsorship revenues
• Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients to generate business
• Arranging meetings, responding to enquiries, and creating detailed written proposals for clients
• Attending competitor and industry events to build market knowledge and identify new prospects
• Sharing best practices with the wider sales team and contributing to team meetings
• Supporting the smooth running of events on the ground when required
ABOUT YOU:
You’ll bring:
• B2B sales experience, events industry background is a bonus but not essential
• Confidence managing a pipeline and working with CRM systems
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage clients at all levels
• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities
• Solid presentation and proposal writing skills
• Professional credibility and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude
This role is based in Guildford, with core hours of 9:00am–5:30pm. Due to the North American focus of the portfolio, there will be occasions where discretionary US hours are required.
CSM do not ‘usually’ offer sponsorship for this role
