WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Singapore Office of CloserStill Media (CSM) is looking for a new addition to the team to join our award-winning technology portfolio. Our ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a good understanding of prospecting and developing relationships and has experience selling exhibition solutions to businesses of all sizes.

SUMMARY
The Regional Sales Executive / Manager for the China Market is tasked with overseeing daily sales performance and implementing sales strategies for our events in the Chinese market. This position requires collaboration with the China Market team / Group Event Director to create and execute effective sales plans that guarantee the financial success of events. Additionally, the role includes cultivating relationships with clients, discovering new business opportunities and ensuring exhibitors' success at our shows. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication abilities and a solid understanding of the events industry.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily sales performance and meet and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead and Event Director to create and implement sales strategies.
- Introduce sales activities as necessary to achieve financial goals for events.
- Liaise with various departments (Operations, Marketing, etc) to ensure smooth execution.
Sales Management
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations for events and achieve personal sales targets
- Proactively deliver show strategies for new and existing business opportunities.
- Execute campaign strategies set by the Team Lead and Event Director, focusing on exhibitor numbers, sponsorship revenues and overall yield.
- Monitor sales plans to ensure targets are met within budget, including outbound call volumes and face-to-face meetings.
- Develop new revenue streams through creative sponsorships and partnership.
- Develop and manage multi-channel sales and create sales strategy with partners to win new businesses
Brand Development
- Implement event brand strategies to maintain and enhance market relevance.
- Travel to meet with customers, prospects and event partners to build relationships.
- Manage partners’ marketing strategies, ensuring effective monitoring and analysis.
Financial Oversight
- Maintain accurate records of stand and sponsorship ledgers.
- Record each sales accurately on CRM systems.
- Provide monthly reports on contributions and actions taken to achieve target.
Operations Coordination
Collaborate with the Operations team to execute customers’ requirements and ensure high-quality experiences for exhibitors and delegates.
Marketing Collaboration
Work with the Marketing team to implement event marketing strategies aimed at achieving exhibitor and visitors targets with appropriate demographics.
Relationship Building
Foster positive relationships with agency, associations, media and commercial partners.
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or account management within the events industry or a related field. The level of the position (Executive or Manager) will be determined based on the candidate's experience.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the Chinese market dynamics and business practices.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Great sales and communication skills.
- Love the dynamic of a passionate team but are equally confident working independently and using your own initiative.
- Like working in a fast-paced environment where there is opportunity to grow.
- Strong organisational and customer service skills.
- Proficient IT skills including Salesforce CRM.
- Ability to travel as there is a requirement to be out in the market 30%-40% of the time.
