loserStill Media is offering an exceptional opportunity to launch your career in the events industry - and we're looking for someone fluent in German to join us. During your time with us, you'll work alongside experienced events professionals, learning what it takes to succeed in this dynamic industry. THE ROLE:
Delegate Sales is the team that delivers event audiences. We work across all teams at CloserStill to ensure the right people - key decision-makers and industry leaders - attend our world-class events. Your fluency in German will be a key asset as you connect with German-speaking clients across Europe.
What a typical day looks like:
The day starts with a team meeting where you'll set your personal target for the day
We use 'Power Hours' throughout the day - 2 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon - dedicated time when we're on the phones, engaging with clients and driving registrations
Plenty of time between Power Hours to recharge in our communal breakout space with coffee or tea
Just after lunch, another team huddle to check progress and share what's working
Throughout the day, you'll use our bespoke CRM system (unique to CloserStill) to manage client relationships and track your progress - valuable experience you'll take with you as you grow
You'll input client details, work information, and payment details accurately into our event registration system
You'll also use platforms like LinkedIn to attract clients and build your professional network
The day ends with a final team meeting to celebrate wins and see if you've smashed your personal target
This isn't just about making calls - it's about building relationships, developing commercial awareness, and becoming an expert in your event's industry.
ABOUT YOU:
We're looking for someone with:
Fluent in German (written and spoken) - this is essential
A risk-taking attitude - someone who isn't afraid to make decisions, weigh up options, and collaborate with specialists across the business
A strong work ethic - you understand why hard work matters and you're willing to put in the effort to succeed
Adaptability - you can take in new information quickly and apply it effectively in a fast-moving environment
Quick thinking - able to respond well under pressure and think on your feet
Team player mentality - you work well with others across a multi-faceted business
Independence - comfortable working autonomously when needed
Industry awareness and self-awareness - curious about the world around you and reflective about your own development
