WHO WE ARE:
OpenRoom has been established for over 20 years and has recently sold a majority shareholding to CloserStill Media, an international exhibitions company. Our offices are in West London and the roles are office based with international travel.
We have exciting growth plans over the next two to three years and are looking for ambitious and motivated people to join our award-winning teams. OpenRoom Events is a b2b event organiser specialising in the format of 1-2-1 meetings and networking in the retail, veterinary, dental and pharmacy markets worldwide
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Dental Portfolio Manager, you’ll play a critical role in the day-to-day performance and success of our dental events. Working alongside the Portfolio Director, you'll be responsible for executing strategies that drive commercial growth, team collaboration, and show excellence across all departments. This is a fast-paced, strategic, and rewarding role where you’ll help lead one of the most important portfolios in the business, ensuring relevance, profitability, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities Include:
•Manage the planning and delivery of the event lifecycle, from concept to completion.
•Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to ensure smooth event execution.
•Monitor and evaluate competitor activity to ensure we remain market-leading.
•Identify and implement innovative show features that deliver value to visitors and exhibitors.
•Support senior management with broader business initiatives when required.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Someone confident in managing budgets, commercial targets, and revenue-generating strategies.
•Bring a strong understanding of brand positioning and customer engagement.
•Have excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
•Can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational management.
ABOUT YOU
•Experience working in exhibitions, conferences, or a similar event environment.
•You’re results-driven and highly organised, with excellent time management.
•A natural communicator who can collaborate across teams and build strong relationships.
•Comfortable analysing performance and making informed recommendations.
•Skilled in project management, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
•Creative and resourceful, with a desire to continually improve event delivery.
•Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
•Passionate about delivering world-class events that drive community and commercial value.
