Event & Conference Marketing Manager (Hybrid)

What You’ll Do:
Develop and execute effective marketing plans and programs to support the sales and revenue goals of a launch event. Ensure campaigns are executed on time and within budget. Project manage speaker submissions and content, speaker selection, and overall experience with a customer-focused mindset. Strategize, build, and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive an effective event including promotion and follow-up through email marketing, paid and organic media, and other channels as you see fit. Identify industry partnership opportunities by working closely with Event Director. Contribute towards the growth of an internal marketing database to support the event marketing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a marketing database of contacts and actively contribute to inputting new contacts.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for a new event launch in collaboration with the Event Director and marketing team.
- Create campaigns focused on new client acquisition, including crafting messaging, optimizing campaigns, and analyzing marketing plans and strategies to identify areas for improvement that drive conversions.
- Manage the design and creative process for all marketing materials, ensuring they align with the event's branding and messaging.
- Collaborate with partners to develop marketing campaigns, lead generation strategies, and compelling materials for all revenue streams.
- Monitor marketing metrics, including response rates, KPIs, attendee demographics, and industry best practices, and make recommendations and adjustments as appropriate.
- Manage purchase orders and liaise with Finance on reporting requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in event planning and marketing, lead generation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proven track record of building and managing a marketing database.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional copywriting skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience in executing digital marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software programs.
- Understanding and experience utilizing digital marketing tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- Knowledge of event production and logistics
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in event promotion with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
What We Offer...
This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position with 3 days required in the NYC office. CloserStill Media offers a competitive base salary of $75,000 to $85,000 and a comprehensive set of benefits.
